What a great cave experience. Wonderland Cave is an absolute gem. My mom was visiting town and always wanted to see a cave, Wonderland was fortunately still open for the season so we chose them; it did not disappoint.
We had a very short wait and then joined just a small group of people with a phenomenal tour guide, Sean.
The cave was very impressive with lots of amazing formations to look at. You do have to descend close to 130 steps, so wear good shoes.
The best part was our tour guide, Sean. He was extremely informative and hilarious, a true professional at his job.
I would recommend Wonderland to anyone looking for a great cave experience and as a bonus it is an incredibly beautiful Black Hills drive to get there.
